Rental conditions made clear
The essential rules of the rental, with no surprises. Vehicle-specific values (deposit, deductible, included km) depend on the vehicle and are shown on its page and in the contract.
Fuel
The vehicle is handed over with the fuel level recorded at check-out and must be returned with the same level. If fuel is missing, the missing refuelling is charged on return.
Kilometres
Every rental includes the kilometres set by the contract, shown on the vehicle page and at checkout. At checkout you can prepay extra-km packages at half price; kilometres driven beyond those included are counted on return at the vehicle's per-km price.
Deposit and deductibles
The deposit shown on the vehicle page is charged (card or bank transfer) before handover and refunded on return if the vehicle comes back undamaged. In case of damage it is retained up to the deductible set by the vehicle's contract: the amount depends on the vehicle and is shown on its page and in the contract.
Cancellation
Cancellation is free with a full refund up to 72 hours before pickup. Within the last 72 hours the booking is no longer refundable.
Late returns
If you expect to be late, let us know as soon as possible: where we can, we'll agree an extension. Returning the car after the agreed time without notice may incur the charge set out in the contract, as another customer may be waiting for it.
Smoking, pets and fines
Smoking is not allowed in any of our vehicles: any extra cleaning required for smoke or excessive dirt is charged. Pets are allowed only if agreed in advance and with a carrier. Fines, tolls and penalties incurred during the rental are the customer's responsibility and are charged back to you, together with any handling fees set out in the contract.
